We are working on testing the various stock fuel components now. The *Hope* was that we were not going to have to provide any fuel upgrades to go with the kit and we would be able to make a solid 400rwhp on stock components. Unfortunately that is not the case.

The TT Kit is perfect as-is but it makes too much power

Obviously we could just turn it back a little (In terms of boost) but that sort of defeats the purpose of the kit -- to make more power than a bolt-on SS for a reasonable amount of money.

We will get it figured out...

Thanks really hoping you guys get this out the way you want it. I'll take a clean/reliable 400rwhp system any day versus a higher power unstabble version

Hmmm... is Gretchen having the same problems then? I thought they had the injector pressures available up to around 2200 PSI. Your setup requires more?

I don't think it's the injectors.....the pumps providing the fuel....

I guess they ran out of duration on the injector then? New injectors for this motor are probably going to be expensive if they can even find any. If they maxed out the pressure too, the only thing to do is get bigger nozzles or a higher rated pump. Looks like the cost is going up if you want more than the 400 they have now.

Is the car drivable with the current setup? Did it go lean on top for that pull at 404?

No it went lean at 420+ run so Vince is also trying to get the rich spike fixed in the middle as well. I think at the 395 run at the top end it was at 11.5-7 which I thought was good....

Now if we can put it on a dynojet we should be safe at 440-450 rwhp range...

430-450 works for me! That's about as much as I'd want to put on the rest of the drive train anyway. Just so long as it's "tractable" power... What RPM did it make full boost at?

Because DFI runs so high injector pressure and such a short duty cycle (around20% versus 60-80% in normal port injection) pump probably run out of juice. This is very hard to figure out on DFI cars, before you actually start to test the fuel system with more demand. Then you start to find the weak links in the fuel system...

I think it was peak torque was 366 at 3900rpm with my 21's and boost was still climbing but we stopped at right after 6K? The power line is very cool tourque stay at 300-366 then backs off a little after 4600... Does that make sense? I think big boost is at the 3900-4500 range theats the area we are trying to get ironed out right now with the fuel rich spike at 4539 then the power starts climbing again...

This is all on 87 octane fuel too...
