i know steve told me they had some company contracted to go get their cars when they were ready.

Oshawa is under 3 hours from Buffalo. Thing is they won't ship the cars until final inspection is done and even then they wait until they have a full truck coming this way; in this case to the West Seneca holding yard and then on to further destinations with the rest of the load. Then for whatever reason, same deal with waiting for another truck to deliver locally even though Basil is 9-10 minutes from that yard. Don't feel bad. There is another chevy dealer within walking distance of that yard and they have to wait for their cars too.

so by my math with the 2 being built today. that puts basil at 11 built so far they had 31 allocated and ordered the last 10 for dealer stock so they didnt lose them according to trent. so that makes 10 before me. and someone recently said they moved up a few spots due to contraints so maybe i am less then ten.

Order date 2/25/09. I'm at 3400. Was 14 in line but that got all FUBAR with constraints...

My original order was on 10/13/08 with a few crooks so cancelled and reordered from Steve on 2/25/09. Best move I've made in a long time.

i stopped this morning to meet steve after work wanted to put a face to the name. he gave me the keys to the silver 2ss thats on the lot and let me sit in it and start her up and check it out. talked to him for a couple minutes cause he was headed to a meeting. saw a red streak go flashing by the window and it was that trent guy pulling out of the lot lol. seems he got his camaro and forgot all about his impala being on the lot lol.

first impression as this was the first one i sat in. window looks good from outside but once you sit inside that mirror is HUGE. i am 6 foot 1 and my head hit the roof now i didnt play with the seat at all so i know theres some adjustment i am sure that can be made but that mirror is HUGE so i can see where this can be a problem. i plan on definately going to a big empty parking lot after i get this car and get used to it cause its definately going to be a change from my blazer. i heard about the blindspots so i have moved my mirrors in my truck to get used to driving with the mirrors. but that mirror scares me being so big and in the middle of that little window.

I ordered on 3/21 and was 20 out of the 31 from Steve. I am now at 3400 as of today. Things look like they are moving quickly.

3000 on 5/4
3300 on 5/18
3400 on 5/28
