11 pro-stockers + a bunch of high-hp strip cars

one of the big dogs ran a 4.14... coasting through the traps because his supercharger belt flew off halfway through the run

and i pulled my personal best 60' ever... 2.10
not too shabby for 5 yr-old 32" street tires on a 4600lb truck. it's sad i couldn't even do that in the car

then again, it's easier to keep traction on launch when you can power a second axle

Maybe we should get some Cars & Coffee type meeting going once a month or once every other week... pick a random donut/coffee shop to stop at and meet on a Saturday or Sunday AM.

I took my boys (11 and 9) out too Emerald Coast Dragway last night for their first feel of amazing horsepower... They loved the Pro Stocks! My youngest said, "Daddy, that one made my hair stand up!"

Would be and will be nice! Hopefully, in July I will be able to go if there is a cruise and bring my mini-me's with me. (This month, brothers wedding in Indiana, then end of June my niece graduates Basic Training.)

I'm with you on that kurt. I've been wanting to do like a dinner thing at the new O'quigley's in crestview sometime. As far as morning get togethers sunday's would be best for us.

Yes. The rooms are discounted down from $199.00 to $159.00 for the block. The tickets are an added bonus for the weekend. (just fyi: A non-Gulf View room at the New Hampton Inn is $239.00 a night + tax).

I'm still up for an event in June in OBA that weekend. If the concert idea doesn't pan out, we could still do a day trip Saturday to the Fort and the Fairhope Pier and have an early dinner in OB.

Closing on my house that week bud. Would love that concert tho!

Yes, that would be pretty awesome... I know they liked the track last night cause they would walk up where the guys/gals were working on their expensive "hobbies" and looked at them like superstars.
