Anything larger than 1/2" OD will not work, the hose will not be able to go on the clutch master cylinder "nipple" due to the shape of the clutch master cylinder around the "nipple" the hose goes on. Hose I used is 1/2" OD. Now you have to find true EPDM caps in lots less than 50..........

Ok guys, I have 25 of these caps coming so if they work out and I don't see why they wouldn't, I'l have some to pass around. If anybody knows of any reason these caps wouldn't work please say so.

In some cases I guess it's what needs to be done on high power setups, but in many other cases where it's a stock issue I'd say it's pretty pathetic overall. I've driven BMW's, Mercedes, et al, manual vehicles and shifts are like butter at any RPM. So, I'd have to say if the imports can do it why can't domestics? These issues are so bad, you can't get any work done under warranty because the resolutions to the issues are not resolved using any GM parts so they won't fix it. You have to pay out of pocket to replace all the bad parts or trade up your existing Camaro for a ZL1 and pray all issues are fixed (which I doubt).
Not a good marketing move by GM or Chevrolet.

i have one, and i,m not sure what would of happen...but powershifted yesterday and something did not feel right afterwards...drove it today, was fine for 20 miles then pedal started hanging and finally went to floor with no clutch..reservoir was empty, filled up and tried to pump clutch to get home and it pumped out inside the tranny to the ground..someconnection ? must have blown apart, i have not checked , but i assume that the original reservoir is seperated from the brake reservoir? if it is a single brake/clutch res, i would of loss all brake fluid...instead i only loss my seperate clutch reservoir fluid..

clutch is a twin disc clutch, after doing some research i assume i blew the slave cylinder in the transmission, i would recomend upgrading this when doing a clutch as it will get you starnded and you have to pull tranny to fix..called my mechanic when it happened, to see if there was possible some line blew apart and he said no, that probably the slave gave out and has seen it b4, would normally only do it during hard shifting which is what i did do..powereshifted hard frm 1st to 2nd...i thought that i was protected and in good shape with a twin disc , but i guess the slave becomes the weak spot..never ends..lol..fluid was leaking out from inside the bellhousing which is where the slave is..

negative, but somewhere on another brd, someone just blew out his slave with a zr1 clutch/...so i have to assume that these aftermarket clutches and higher hp is not slave cyl friendly...my mech said he has seen it happen on many stock clutches...just surprised we haven,t seen more..
