thats exactly the thing! i dont want to get off subject here.
i dont expect anything at all! honestly!! thats why i am putting myself on their shoes! lets say for example something did happen to my engine.... the dealer would ( we all know this) would try to avoid to cover it at all cost! and i would be stuck with a huge bill all because of a simple task! would that be fair ? why is it that the big man gets away with it! not this time yeah maybe all i need is an honest apology! am i looking for $$$? no not at all im not looking for that! thank god im doing ok for myself! i just want satisfaction and at this point in time, i dont know what will sufice that. getting back to my business, yeah my employees have really fkd up on ew ocassions!! and if i or customer can prove it was our fault i dont argue or pass blame,i apologize, i correct problem, give / offer something i know customer would like and expalin events that happen then i would hope to god they return someday!!! and quite a few have because i own up to mistakes! like i said i was mad when i wrote email! still dosent change fact service techs fkd up more than twice.

Pin pointed my front end popping.
Yes, it was the end link which attaches to the strut on the right side. I might have mentioned this before a while back, but my front end was good for 20k miles....no problems. Once we added the suspension parts, I began to get the popping sound. Not sure how it happened...not tight enough, over tightened, not a strong enough nut/bolt, etc, but...the upper end link bolt was stripped. That caused it to loosen and BAM BAM BAM all over the place. Since we had to cut the old end link bolt to get it off, we put the stock end link back on. Guess what...no more popping. So, my front end popping is resolved. For everyone else, I honestly think everyone needs to check every nut, bolt, etc everywhere under that front end. I've seen problems with loose nuts and end links in several places now. You never know...could be the same on yours. They are easy to check and I'd highly recommend it. |

You are welcome.
I wish there was one main issue that was causing this and we'd be able to figure it all out. Just not sure if it's going to pan out that way. Just got to keep checking. |

Put 5k on my 2010 2ss/rs since I bought it. Took it on vacation, feeling the loose lumber/clunking under my feet while a passenger. Not A HAPPY customer. Will be filing a complaint. Thanks for the thread.

There are two categories of 5th Gen owners in this thread. Some are bone stock and have a noise while others have suspension mods and have a noise. Perhaps in the post made from this point on we could make clear which category your noise falls into.
Another HUGE aid would be to upload sound / video clips so we can hear the noise that impacts your individual vehicle. My guess is they are not all the same and hearing them would be a HUGE plus in helping resolve them. The bad news is there is a noise in some vehicles. The good news is that some have eliminated the noise. |

Check every bolt up there...you'll figure out what it is.
Levity is a good thing. But let's try to keep certain comments (of which some people simply can't do anything about) out of the thread (unless someone wants to start a name calling war...which wouldn't be good). Thanks. |

Looks like you need to do a little reading!
There are some solutions on this thread.
