Lightly tuned in the thread title is not representative of the 2011 GT in the video.

However everything besides FI is a downright retarded statement.

Great logic.

Why not compare my 2010 camaro to a 2002 gt?

Or why not compare a 2010 mustang to a 2010 camaro... oh wait... That's been done. Forgot.
Dude the 2010 and 2011 camaros are the same, If not heavier than 2010's.

i believe this is a

still a driver's race.

do all that to a camaro and add the upgraded 3.73 gears which that one had, and the camaro will run the same times. hell, look at the official 1/4 mile fast list in the bolt-on section. the 2 fastest have the same mods without upgraded gears, but with headers and they're running 11.7s

It does look like stock for stock and bolt on for bolt on the 5.0 vs the SS is a drivers race.

Those gears however, are not MODS, they are factory and stock....so that doesnt even count as a "mod"

The consensus already was that the headers goes under the category of Moderately tuned or even Heavily tuned.

This mustang had NONE OF THAT.

GEARS DO make a big difference.

I wonder why there are no SS versions avail with more aggressive gearing?

This thread needs to be moved to the same place as the last one. Every week another Mustang owner posts the same thing in this forum. How long will it be before another Mustang owner posts this same video?

This thread needs to be merged with this one that's already active.

I am not sure how you get drivers race when there have been times reported of stock 5.0s running in the upper 12s.

If that was said in a reverse argument where the camaro was a couple tents of a second faster...and the mustang guy said "drivers race"

There would be 24 posts on here by now explaining how HUGE OF A DIFFERENCE a couple of a tenths of a second are.

Would you like me to search this forum and post threads on that point?

There times of SS in upper 12s. Remember the times you see on this forum are nothing. Imagine how many hundreds of camaro owners out there that don't belong to this forum. A M6 camaro was capable of 12.5. Just imagine.
