2016 Motortrend car & truck of the year: Hoping to cruise up to the auto show this weekend to get a closer look.
IMO, I know it can sometimes take awhile to warm up to the newest body styles & performance changes; but the debut Gen6 is the first Camaro I do not want to own in Summit (Ermine, Antique, or Artic) White. It appears to be a very sleek design, with beautiful familiar lines, and I'm definitely all in... until I see the rounded "toilet seat" hood w/giant black reptile nostrils.
If I ever take the plunge (pun), I'll probably go with Nightfall Grey... because everyone will have Hyper Blue!
...then order "PLATYPUS" vanity plates! Haha!
Thanks a lot man, now I'll never be able to unsee the toilet seat!

Edit: a word

LMAO!!!
I suppose that the Gen 6 will be very popular with the ladies: the seat will always be down!

Sorry Maybe this will help: I'll only take the Nightfall Grey if I can get "PLATYPUS" on my vanity plates. If not, I'll go for the Blue Flash, and cross my fingers that "CHAIRY" is available. (Peewee's Playhouse, anyone???)

I represent that remark! Haha! As long as I don't have to stick my hands in the 'toilet bowl' during the 1 first year... & those 455 horses don't take a crap on me... then I'll LOVE it as much as all my previous Gen's.
I just have a feeling my beloved '13 will be my 1st, and last, late model white Camaro SS. (Which I'm totally fine with at the moment!!)

Fantastic car & photo. Where did you order your blue stripes from? I would have
ordered my SW SS back in '09 with blue stripes and interior if it had been available.

Thank you!

Canon EOS Rebel T3i with just the kit lens (forgot my good glass). I'm about to upgrade though and send this camera to my dad, I'm just still deciding on which one I want.

Thank ya! You'll have to PM Goshawk823 about the original custom stripes in my sig & last photo. (Former owner; not sure if he's still around? I've yet to meet him.) I couldn't find a replacement factory style "extended" Bee kit like those. I assume he had an installer in Richmond cut/order them? They appeared to be a close match to 3M Azure Blue Metallic (now discontinued).
Unfortunately, after 2yrs the original driver's side stripe was lifting/curling on front of hood, and overall the vinyl material was beginning to look rough. (1/4"-1/2" areas in top gloss layer had been compromised/or eroded, causing color to appear matte & metallic fleck to blacken. Looked like bad stains/waterspots from a distance)
I decided to replace them last Summer w/ MoPro's Bumble Bee kit, specifically because I wanted original '68 Rally Stripe spacing. Jerry @ MoPro hooked me up with SW900 ~aka~ Avery Supreme Wrap, Bright Blue Metallic... an exact match to '68 Camaro & Corvette LeMan's Blue. His kit came with TWO options for wrapping the spoiler & mail slot. I used 2 (of the 4) extra pieces to re-wrap grille/trunk emblems, & will cut mini's to fit steering wheel & wheel cap bowties next Spring. Installed myself... Saved $400!

During final stripe install... Wrapped front edges of new stripes under hood deck, to (hopefully) give the vinyl/adhesive a bit more strength.
