Yawn. Of course it gives you a visual image of what happened through the road course. But the fact the Camaro still won over the Cobalt, no matter what disadvantage the Cobalt was at, is what matters. It shows the Cobalt is a great handler like the Camaro, and the sheer power of the Camaro is what gave it the win. All in all, the Camaro beat it on one of the most respected tracks in the world.

Source? My source says it was a 8:18 and the 1/4 mile time was retrieved from a magazine that stated a 12.6, so I just assumed the magazine didn't get the best time and it still had more potential in it.

I wasn't aware Chevy was marking down the Camaro. When I ordered last summer the best offer I got was MSRP for an order, or thousands over MSRP for one off the floor. Hard to believe that was less than a year ago.

i wish i had the luxury to be able to do that. im not willing to take that kind of hit cash wise.

instead i will be doing major work to my engine, which in the end should cost the same amount as an edlebrock supercharger. in the end i should have something like a 7200 rev limiter and 450 rwhp......just have to wait for that warranty to run out.....

Got the wife talked into it. We did really well on the 2010 buy so I think we would break even there. Looking at 10% down which would put us just a bit over our current payment on her car.

Next step is wheeling and dealing.

If we keep the 2010 I will be putting a Kenne Bell S/C on it.

I thought you bought the 2010 GT knowing about the 2011 getting the 5.0? Or was that Lil_chef?

Drivers race, Im pretty confident the camaro will pull up top though. It all depends on the package of the mustang, 373 gear option, trak pack etc.

In my personal Opinion L99<5.0<LS3 will be the out come.

The cars are so close should make some good street racing videos (on a closed course =) )

yeah i was very aware of the 5.0, but i was in the market for the v6 models (college student). the 2010 GT just so happened to be the same price out the door as a 1LT RS would be out the door.

what has caught me off guard is that the dealers around me are discounting the 5.0 in a similar manner as well. it would cost me about 13k to get a 5.0 out the door ( because resale value on my 2010 sucks, go figure) so i have decided to take the mod route.
