ever watch pinks? bald headed guy gets you out there, stages and drops his arm...not quite sure why they want to change the way it was and has been...might be something changed at time of race day..never ran a arm drop, kind of been working on the tree...don,t really think ther is much rules...i do know it opens up a nightmare of " he left early, no he didn,t b*****t"..so using electronics and the tree, eliminates all that guesswork...you either ran good or you did not...but to run a couple 100 races on armdrops seems like a bad idea..imo

first pony wars was arms drop, no issues encountered, other than people may have been sleeping at the wheel for looking at the hot chick

doing the arm drop.....anyways, a lot of people felt like they wanted the tree instead, so maybe that is something that can be discussed at the track prior to the event taking place (the quick 8)....all qualifying and test runs are NOT arm drop, at least it wasn't the first time around...

thats my thought also.., but i saw you run and your buddys escalade@ 1st pony war, we were using tree..or are you thinking camarofest?..i did not make the 1st one

OK, thanks. It's just like it sounds - someone actually doing an arm drop. Again, new to this, but can't imagine why that would be used when an electronic version is available.

The 1st pony wars was feb. 2010 and the arm drop was used for the quick 16 (then) and not for qualifying.....I was at the 2nd with my friend with the escalade, it was a little different, but still used the tree for qualifying (you were there mike)....too bad we did not meet....this time around I'm planning on being there since Friday and looking forward to hanging out with you guys!!!! Let's just hope my car is not broken then (I track it a lot and break stuff all the time)
