Just wondering if this is a defect or it's supposed to be like that.
Oddly enough, GM designed only the drivers side and rear view mirrors to dim. On my Tahoe all three dim, so I was caught by surprise as well!!

Camarogrrl - Welcome to our group! The road course East of Denver is a blast and I think you guys will enjoy it when you come up. Our web site is "ccotr.org"

Tom - They were just afraid of having another IOM there. We had three IOMs, One black, one red and one dark blue (I mean IBM). Was a great time, hope to see you next time.

Larry and I will be rallying somewhere on Sat, so we won't be at the C&C. Anyone want to join us when we figure out our destination?

For those thinking the manual tranny is a more popular option, I filtered the numbers from the spastic squirrel database. It seems the auto tranny is a much more popular option nationwide, but they are even in Colorado.

US Total Camaros - 24364
Man - 8582 (35%)
Auto - 15782 (65%)
SS Man - 7680 (45% of SS)
SS Auto - 9339 (55% of SS)
LT Man - 777 (11% of LT)
LT Auto - 6160 (89% of LT)
LS Man - 125 (31% of LS)
LS Auto - 283 (69% of LS)

Colorado Total Camaros - 252 (Delivered to CO dealers)
Man - 126 (50%)
Auto - 126 (50%)
SS Man - 110 (60% of SS)
SS Auto - 72 (40% of SS)
LT Man - 14 (21% of LT)
LT Auto - 53 (79% of LT)
LS Man - 2 (67% of LS)
LS Auto - 1 (33% of LS)

Don't forget that alot of those LT's (at least a few thousand) went to dealers and car rentals. Those were all autos.

Good point. That probably accounts for about 4,000 LTs and maybe 1,000 SSs which brings the numbers closer to parity. Excluding those, autos are probably still in the majority, but not by as big a margin. Those dealer cars were mostly LTs and that definitely accounts for the huge disparity among the LTs.

Cruised to C&C, no 2010s, but a few corvettes, lambos, and mustangs in a gathering...
