C5Fest should be located where it gives the greatest concentration of Camaro enthusiasts a chance to attend.

And SGMP is closer to Jacksonville than Atlanta.

Maybe you can lighten up... just a bit. I appreciate the accuracy of your argument.

But picking the fest location is a little more complicated than following population density maps.

Our goal has always been to give as many of our members a chance to attend as possible. Hence the work to move it around the country.

If we wanted the same people every year to attend we'd have it in the same place.

Hey Chris, I know you've probably answered this a lot of times, but I've always wondered.. How long does it take for you guys to organize a fest? From start to finish?

I vote Memphis International Raceway for the next one out this way, C5fest 5-6... But I am biased lol. Good racetrack... Best BBQ in the world (NON-Debatable)... and 30 Minutes from Beale Street.

As for C5Fest IV I like the Idea of Texas or AZ again.

BTW. I grew up in Vegas, a 702 fest would be so sick. I haven't been back to LV since i moved and it would be a blast to make a grand homecoming. Though the miles on my SS would be killer haha.

Virgina motorsports park in Richmond, VA........GM uses it alot to test cars it has everything we would.....

Wow, that's a tricky question..

We typically shoot for nine months from the time we know what track we are going to have it at... That way we can announce the fest 9 months out so people have plenty of time to plan.

We start looking at tracks about a month after the fest is over.

So really start to finish it's about 11 months to get everything sorted out.

This year took longer mostly because we pushed the fest back 4 months from April to Aug.

Next year.....
