Chakita and her BIG cams should be on he dyno under the watchful eyes of Tracy and Vince.

Within a few hours, we should have the answers we have been waiting for.

Update!!!! Still tweaking the tune, but these cams are making peak power through 7200 rpm and not showing signs of dropping off. Were not spinning higher than that w/out looking into the valvetrain, but by the looks 8k redline.Stock cams peak power would start dropping off at 6300 and go down pretty steeply, but this is pretty damg impressive.

Rigght now were tied for peak HP as the base line, but we are just starting to get the tune dialed in.

Were down on low end TQ but that will come up.

Thanks Matt !!! So what does "tied for peak with the baseline" mean? Peak hp as the original baseline at 256 ?

Inquiring minds want to know!

You'll have to change the lobe centers to get the peak down below redline.

BSR is correct. A bit to much overlap. were at 268 peak HP right now. The heads will help these cams work.

Can the VVT adjust for too much overlap?

Forgive my stupidity this is without porting the heads correct? Was 300RWHP the goal here? If so then 32 RWHP still needs to be found in the tune and in the porting. Or am I way off screwy here?
