Even at WOT rowing the gears in the Mustang was quiet. My company car (KIA) is just as loud at WOT....lol Trading? -I inquired back when I was looking to trade my 13 5.0. The dealership called and said they have 15's on the lot (come test drive).. After the test drive I was more than Happy to drive my Camaro home..

Was your 5.0 a M6? Did the PP GT shift/feel better? Wondering if Ford addressed this.

yes, it was an M6 and the 15 shifts did feel improved at WOT and part throttle as well.

One word. Ugly! Every gen camaro has always looked better and every gen chevy v8's are friendlier to mod. Who leaves their hot rods stock anyway?

My SS was quite loud when stock. Anthony at LG Motorsports commented on how loud it was when he did the pre-exhaust mod dyno pulls.

I think twin turbo V8's are the future.
![]() ![]() At least in my future. But seriously. I saw the new Mustang this weekend. The interior is very nice looking. The exterior looks nice too. But to me, it looks a little sissy-ish. It looks sleek and Elegant, but not like a true "Muscle Car". To me the 5th gen camaro looks like a Muscle car and much meaner looking. The GT350 looks nice also, but who want to pay $65,000 to $70,000 for a NA mustang, even if it can rev to 8000 RPM. I guess the same person that wants to pay $75k for a track only Z/28. If i was paying $70,000 for a car, I would get the "A$$ kicking" new Z06. A true supercar. |

^^^ The GT 350 should be priced at $52,995 which is a far cry from $65,000-$70,000.

Well that seems a little better pricing. When I looked at it a few weeks ago, right after the LA autoshow, I could have sworn it was estimated at 65,000+ range. It looks like the latest rumors on pricing show $52,995. If its a limited production vehicle, I am sure Ford would never let dealers sell them over "sticker price" right? We will have to wait until the rumors turn to fact to be sure. At $53,000 they will get a lot more traffic on that car. Seems like a cool car.
