Guys, I think you also need to realize that when the original project started, at the beginning of this thread, the OP was working for a different company. They weren't able to do a mass produced kit. Then, the OP moved to a different shop, that has picked up the project, and is working on the kit(s) They are still working on the moldings, last we were updated. The shop does work on other projects, so it's not like they can wave a magic wand and make these things appear. I'm as anxious as anyone, but it will be ready when it's ready.

You are kidding right! When someone states at the beginning of a thread FIRST EVER Double Din coming SOON, I would expect it to happen in the next 6 months not almost a year and a half no matter what situation came up. It has so many hits because the thread started September of 2009. Still waiting

...well you do realize that there are indeed a few kits out there that were done by the first shop. so those could be considered as having come 'soon' just because there is not a mass produced kit that costs $300 and you can buy it at wal-mart does not mean that this new kit is not coming.

Ahm, there are plenty of kits, for $300 or less...does this mean we have to buy them?

Everybody is anxious about this one, but I think it won't come ever, the costs are too high, and it is too complicated I guess.

They did do several of these, but people complained they cost too much... so technically it did come soon, they are currently working on making a somewhat chewaper one that they can sell and ship. The original had to be done at their shop and took some time to produce. If you read the thread you would all know that. Too you have to understand they don't have the full engineering team and financial backing like Soche or Metra does... It a privately owned company and they are trying to build this while keeping the company alive in this hard time... If you can't wait for an exact match to the Camaro, then go buy the other guys.

REALLY!! So show me where this NEW kit they built is at and available for purchase no matter what the cost. I don't go to Walmart to purchase my parts for my camaro maybe you do. I have followed this thread and have waited long enough for some type of progress.

Again, tell me where I could have purchased the kit they said they had finalized. Yes I read all 400 plus posts. I did go ahead and purchase another kit in the meantime because I was tired of the year and a half wait. I dont know where you think people should not be upset for waiting so long for an advertised "coming soon" piece that has yet to materialize. Oh yeah they did have a 2600-2800 dollar kit Ridiculous who would have paid that price. Done with rant
