I love my 2SS/RS

The v6 is a good option, especially for a dd where you want to actually let a few gas stations go by without having to stop. Especially these days

Stock, that may be fair. BUT the auto tends to get that first 100' quicker. It's just the feel due to the smoother launch that give it the rep.

That's fair. Nothing wrong with that at all. But do you rag on the guys who get the V6?

I do make a joke in fun time to time about Fords or Mustangs but really people should enjoy what they like and I'm fine with that! If people didn't like Challengers and Mustangs who would we be able to beat all the time?

Is it ok if my wife let's me drive it to pick up groceries? Wouldn't want you thinking I'm a girly man, your opinion means a lot to me.

Don't worry. While waiting at the tires store, a guy asked me if my Camaro was the "High HP Edition."I said "no, its an SS."
I said "no" because he was referrring to the upcoming ZL1. We talked for a few minutes about the ZL1 and I informed him on a lot of details about the car.
When I told him it will be supercharged making around 550hp, he was disappointed. He expected it to come with the same HP level as the ZR1. Now wouldn't that be something.

This guy was disappointed to hear that the ZL1 was only going to have around 550hp.

But at least he said it would kick Mustangs butt, so we made quick friends.

I get this all the time. I bartend and work at a liquor store and my car's parked out front and I get this at least 3 times a day. I tell them "yes its a automatic v6 that has 330 hp and gets 32 mpg" I'm 19 and can hardly insure any car let alone a brand new full coverage v8.

No, I don't rag on v6 peoples. The Camaro is a nice car either way.

If you can't afford it, then you can't afford it. I understand that, and you really wanted a Camaro, I respect that. You can always trade up later, so no worries.

When It has the HP on the hood they don't ask. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Camar...Q5fAccessories

and even though GM didn't get this official rating until 2011, it's the same exact power-plant! then I say it has a European style 6 speed auto with button shifters.
When faced with exhaust sound questions. I say never saw a girl get of a Porsche pissed of about the 6 cylinder sound.

My bet is, Most of the posts talking about "Male's not driving a v6" is that they drive a Hyundai Atos. Since there is no verification of ownership on this site.
