Yes i used a box cuter, All i did was use the stencil and a marker then cut the opening, Then had to clean the windshield from all the marks of my fat hands. LOL
Also got all the connectors for the plug and play part of the harness, Will make the first one in the AM and test it. |

Initially I really liked the idea of this but thought it'd be too complicated for me to do, after watching the process so far I think I could handle it. Thanks OP for taking the leap

Looks like a pretty clean install, save for the part of cutting up the dash, but if you do it neat its as good as factory. i'm glad to see someone doing this, so I'm trying to get caught up here so all the factory wiring is available all you have to do is tap into it?

I made the new harness and will drive with it in place for a day or two, The clips that are needed to hold the HUD in place will be here on Monday And then i will install and get pics up, But still no TRIM, Hay maybe at SEMA I can get one from the new GM's cars. LOL

by trim, I assume you mean the trim that goes around the HUD display.
