I'll be there, Tahseen. I haven't got the impression that Jay is the type of person to back out of commitments, so I'm sure he'll be there as well.

7:30 at Chick-Fil-A in Cranberry if anyone else feels like beating on their car (or just watching). We're going to have some very nice weather. DA hit mineshaft numbers at points today!

well I can't race with my wheels like this, unless I put my snow tires on and im sure by 3 passes they would be bald tolol

Hey guys, sorry I had to bug out after the third round. I had to be home by 5:00, so with 1.5-2 hours between runs, the last one at 3:00 was it for me.

This was how my day went:

12.84@109.4, 1.99 60', 585 DA
12.96@107.7, 1.96 60', 1200 DA
12.87@107.8, 1.91 60', 1480 DA

That looks like some great times. Is that in slicks or factory rubber? Auto or manual? Stock power, or some added output?

If my thoughts are correct, if your car is factory sock, your at about the fastest of the fast recorded times. I could be wrong?

Uniroyal all-season tires (400 tread)

6 speed (factory 3.42 gears)

Only power mods are a lid (equivalent to an airbox in a Mustang/5th gen), ported throttle body & lower air box, and a weld-in chokemaster (Flowmaster) muffler.

I have UMI lower control arms and relocation brackets which I suspect are helping with my short times, but that I have worse tires than came from the factory (stock are GY F1GS; 300 tread) perhaps negates the suspension help. I've also lowered it and added Bilsteins all around, so it's stiffer than factory which doesn't help the weight transfer. Also have subframe connectors + strut brace = added weight.

It's definitely running better than most I've ever experienced mod-for-mod since I started following and racing LS1 cars in early 2000's. There were only a handful of LS1 cars at the track yesterday, and while they were running quicker than I was (still in the 12's and trapping mid-low 1-teens), they had full bolt-ons, good rubber, and one had heads/cam/FAST intake.

Lastly, I drive it like I stole it.
