Very interested and very very tempting! Whats the "You must have had your car Teched within the last 30 days prior to this event" thing? Does my tech inspection at Firebird count, or is it something special, otherwise? Nevermind, that was done on the 16th, so it will have expired... Is it something I can do, since I'm a mechanic?
I can do safety and emissions,why can't I do this?

Ooops, good catch, fixed the link in my post as well.

From what I can tell, they want someone to fill out a Tech sheet that has the right "qualifications?" Not sure what those qualifications are exactly. Kody is asking around to see what that will cost. They say you can wait and do it at the track but they charge $50 there to do it.

Just got off the phone with Garity at Motor Sport in SLC. He said it would be around 10 bucks but if we came down together he would cut us a group rate deal. We just need to let him know the day before and setup a time. Who's in??????

Looks like you also need numbers on your doors. At least 8 inches high and must contrast with background. This might suck, maybe we can find a magnetic type number?

you can count me in for the track day.
ALSO Wide open Wednesday May 11th this is only 25 for thr track and 10 for auto cross or only 30 for both. I plan on going. this is all at the miller track.
Lightining this is a much less expencive way to get some track time!

I've read that painters tape works great for numbers. it comes off easy when your done and leaves no marks, so I am told.

That's what I was thinking too - looks a little ghetto, but gets the job done and doesn't hurt the paint.

We got our cars Teched at firebird? ha ha ha ummm. When did that take place? I'm a bit worried now. Did they go around and do that while our cars were parked in the morning?

They only did tech on the cars that were participating in the drag and autocross. I still have your 2 way radio.. if your down in this area let me know and we will meet up.

About 3400 S State St. They have a pretty good selection and prices from like $150 to $700 depending on how fancy you want. They let me wear the helmet out into the parking lot to make sure I would fit in the car before I bought it

I think the model I ended up going with was the HJC RPS-10
