TEQUILA SUNRISE GROUP:
Based on group going at this point, we will more than likely depart at 8AM from Longmont exit 240 McDonald's to keep with the origional Perry's Pizza time of 9AM. (no longer meeting at Perry's). Looks like Garth and Cheri, Brian and Nadine meeting at Longmont exit. Then meeting Karen in Colorado Springs at the Garden of the Gods exit off I-25, at the Shell station. 4th Car from Raton (Beaux) is meeting us at Russell's truck stop exit 419 Shell station (just south of Raton). Susan driving solo and meeting up in ABQ. Ted more than likely going solo also, spending night in Taos NM, then meeting in ABQ. There is a chance we could divert from our origional route, but not sure if it works with our "pickup" points. We'll be in contact and keep everyone informed if any changes.

I would imagine Les and Carolyn will have their Camaro canopy with their trailer, not sure if James has anything, and maybe Don - but don't think he's parking at the track. I'm not planning on bringing anything other than sunscreen, shades, and lead foot for the track! I think you'll so busy walking around checking things out, that you won't need to worry much about cover.

wow yea I can see why your times are not where they should be. you need to work on that 60ft. what RPM where you launching at? I managed to run a 13.7 in my buddys LS3 camaro with headers/cai/tune on stock tires. I believe my 60ft were around 2.0-2.1. I only ran his car twice (first run was 14.0). he ran a best of 13.5@106 that day @ bandimere. bone stock on stock tires, he ran 14.2 i believe with about 1500miles on the car and his first time ever to the track on that car. he thinks that if he had more seat time and more practice he would have run a 14.0 or better.

dont worry at your power levels (with your mods about 310whp at this altitude) and especially since you are running stock tires, these will be fine. I have done many many launches (~40 from bone stock at 360whp to 470whp) and countless power shifts with no problems.

check my youtube channel and you will see what im talking about. of course all are on the streets, not as sticky as a track but im running invos which are more sticky than stock tires.

Not sure about that one Kirk... No one was running good. Wonder if it was the track or just first day of the season jitters.
