Best compliment you've ever gotten on your car?

The best compliment I received today was the actions of a man in his Dodge Ram and that of his son sitting in the passengers seat.

I let my sister drive my car today. We went through a Baskin Robbin's drive thru line to get some ice cream. While waiting for our orders I looked out of the passenger window and see this blue Dodge Ram pass by on the street next to the drive thru. Nothing strange there, at least, not until my sister starts laughing because the guy decided to put his Dodge Ram in reverse to get a better look at my car. His son was bouncing in his seat smiling and pointing at my car while his dad also smiled and gave my sister and I a thumbs up.

That is the best compliment I have ever received on my car, someone actually backed up to take a second look at my baby. I mean I have gotten the normal "nice car," "that's a sick car!" and "man that is a nice car" compliments, but this one really made me smile. It could be that there isn't many/any Camaro's with the color combination I have in my area.

Being I've only had it less than a day, the best one so far was "damn those wheels are bigger than your belly"

Today I was in Belgium. You don't see Camaro's here often :-)

At a parking place near the supermarket a guy walked up to me and did asked: "WOW, thats a great looking car. Did you designd and build it yourself?"
My Answer :"Yes, designd it myself and build it in 3 years"

He did asked:" Is car design your full time job?"

My Answer: "No way, I am a stand up comedian (no joke btw).

He told me to quit my job as a comedian and start my own car company or call with some car brands in germany and show them some pics of my self-builded car. YOU ARE A GREAT DESIGNER. I am sure a lot of people would love to drive a car like that....

People really like the Inferno Orange. They always ask if we had it painted that color. We have been at cruises with some very nice high dollar cars and someone always walks by and says this is my favorite car. And oh yah, WE are the older people. We have been driving since before Gen 1. But this is our first Camaro, but not last. We were at Belle Isle for the debut and a Gen 6 is in the future.

Boy I commented here a while ago.....new story however. I went to an auctual drag strip 2 weeks ago. I would run a few times then take a break and watch. I would stand at the end of the seating. There 3 couples all in late 6os age. It's standing there after my latest run...the one guy asked me if I had a car here. I said yes it's the orange camaro with the white stripes. The lady's said it was the nicest car at the track. The one guy told me how nice it looked going down the track. He also commented on how he like the exhaust. Every time I went to the line they would all wave . I made sure to wave back. It was my own cheering section. They stayed the whole night right until the lights went out. I thought it was a lot of fun.

yeah some kids were walking past our house the other day and i heard one say oh wow look it's a bumble bee..
i have the only yellow camaro i know of in uppsala..many many people stop and stare..caught a gang saturday walking round it taking pictures.

The other day when I went to the barber and parked in front. This is a small town barber and you can see out the front from the two chairs. The guy getting his hair cut said that it was one of the nicest looking and sounding cars he had seen. He told me he had been looking into getting a Charger or a Camaro and, after seeing mine and talking with me, thinks he's made up his mind and going to test drive a Camaro. On his way out he took at least a half dozen pictures of my car

My girlfriend looked over at me pensively yesterday and said "god you look sexy driving this car".

That's probably the best so far.
