We typically shoot for nine months from the time we know what track we are going to have it at... That way we can announce the fest 9 months out so people have plenty of time to plan.

We start looking at tracks about a month after the fest is over.

So really start to finish it's about 11 months to get everything sorted out.

This year took longer mostly because we pushed the fest back 4 months from April to Aug.

Next year.....

I have not but that place is perfect for you guys. Been there a few times and is very well known with a rich history. The road course is only a few years old and includes a 1/4 mile strait-away. I think you can also run the drags all evening and the cost per driver will be within your budget. Looking at where you've been the past few years, it looks to me like it's the North East's turn.....

Charlotte is the best bet.

Granted some regions bleed over, but this is how the US Census defines it.

C5Fest should be located where it gives the greatest concentration of Camaro enthusiasts a chance to attend.

And SGMP is closer to Jacksonville than Atlanta.
Can't say I agree with any of that. Maybe when there were 20 or 30 states some of it was correct. It's easy to agree that California is West, Texas is South, Maine is Northeast, Washington is Northwest, etc... But it's not an option for me to consider Indiana anything "west". Midwest is a highly outdated term IMO. It made more sense when it was originated as the land of the Rockies and Westward was unexplored. So then it made sense. Today anyone with basic navigation skills will agree. But naturally the sheeple will just blindly follow the old ways. We could always sell everything west of colorados eastern boarder and call it a day, then we would not need to update our geography books.......

Either way, having C5FIV on the Northern / Eastern corner of the US should not even be considered.

Northeast works for me. My dad would love to go to one of these. So would my nephews.

Completely agree with this statement. It would be ridiculous to have two fests in a row so close to each other.

How about Daytona??

LOL I see what you are doing....

Daytona doesn't have a drag strip. And if we aren't big enough for Vegas.... LOL I'm thinking Daytona might actually giggle when we ask them

Let's do Florida. Come on buddy. Support a fellow Floridians idea and let everyone make a beach vacation out of it!
