Thankfully I can say the internet wasn't around when my kids were born.... But we would have been this abscessed if it was......... RIGHT?

I started using the internet back in 1983, but it wasn't this fun and fast. The world has certainly changed with all the current technology.

WOW, I was using computers but certainly not the internet I don't think that came until 94' or so... I told my kids the other day that my first hard-drive was a cassette tape, they wanted to know what a cassette tape was..

I was managing a computer store in 1984. For home computers we had TI99's and Commadore 64's.........with cassette tape storage. For the internet we had things that held the phone receiver, and used CompuServe for our browser. I programmed/wrote a lot of my own software....in Cobalt and Fortran language.....I was a geek, before they were cool. LOL

I guess if you consider dialing into the old bulletin boards internet then I was doing that all the way back then... Man I'm old

It was a way of interacting with others, so it was the beginning of the internet. Your only as old as you feel...

I built what I consider my first real PC in 94', IT had 4 meg ram ($40) per meg. 40 meg hard drive and a smokin hot 286-66dx..... it ran x-tree gold for the GUI.
