I agree, but it would be hard to get on par with the suspension and that LS7 is a beast naturally aspirated. With a good tune and boltons I bet you could see 600hp pretty easy.

I like this z28, and reading fbod biography its says this car should come in at 40k, that's a good affordable price, just needed opinions
Do you all think it could be a good idea to wait 2 years and pick up a new generation Camaro or would you all get it now,

If it's in the 40's I think I'm gonna jump on it. I think the next generation will be lighter and smaller, but I doubt they will have the styling or the big bruiser motors of the 5th gens. They will have the new LT series of motors that are able to put high HP numbers with less cubic inches, but you still need displacement for big TQ numbers.

I kinda look at it this way, I think right now were kinda in a similar era to the late 60's as far as muscle and sports cars are concerned, but with the new CAFE standards of 2016 I think we are falling into a mid 70's era for performance.

I hope the Z28 comes in under 50K, but it dose not look promissing.

I just copied this from the blog.

“…..this car should come in at 40K!...” (even though we’ve not discussed price as of yet—and frankly, 40K is as attainable as me being elected as President of the United States……….)

(and for those who think the Z/28 should be 40K – take a 1LE and start counting the costs of all the awesomeness we’ve added to the Camaro in order to make it a true Z/28 – and then take into consideration the costs for engineering and validating – and then consider we have to ensure we don’t lose money on the program….)

Maybe it'll start off at 42K andthen add all the options to it, and then it'ss start to get pricey. If it was at let's say 45K, I would seriously considered a trade.

Thanks! Marty (Inferno Z) did them for us. They're a pretty penny, but worth every dollar.

Marty still has some in stock if anybody would like one. Just get a hold of either him or myself.

Yes true happy Easter,

I'm with Charlie I think it will run around 42k, but I was watching oppenhsiser introduce the z28, and it will not come a/c and speakers it will be offered as an up grade, so i'm going it will come 50k or under and i'm on it too, but well not trade my ss,

And yes Ryan you have a point with these new laws to save gas and make the environment better
The new generation week be different I hope it ask works out at the end for all if us
