i installed my catch can, CAI, and will be getting my ported throttle body back by the end of this week(hopefully)

tint is next on my list, but im afraid to go 20%. Legal up here is 50% side windows, 35% rear. I was thinking going 35% all the way around, and hope i dont have any issues, but i think if i went 20%, i would just be asking for trouble.

I'd go 35%, I had a friend who had around 20% tint on his 4th gen camaro, and a cop pulled him over, and then took the tint off right then and there with a knife. It looks sexy with the 20% but may not be worth the risk

Awesome mods. Still need to get the catch can. It is next on my list just can't decide which one I want.

I pray everyday that I don't get pulled over. A tint fine is SC is over 1K, I hear.

That is not right and I would have took that officer to court. My brothers car got impounded in PA for tint but he was given the opportunity to have his tint removed by anyone he wanted before it was released.

Also what if your friend had a medical reason to have tint and the officer removed the tint. That is a lawsuit most cops would not want to walk into.

I should have the darkest legal in Florida which should be a 28% on the front and a 15% rear but I am not even sure if that is what I have. It has been almost 4 years and I just asked the guy to do the darkest legal at the time of instal

I can tell you in NY any tint is a fine of about $300....ask me how I know, so now I don't have any tint on my driver and pass door windows :(

I don't visit this thread often since it was moved, but thought I'd share photos I took today with the FR ZL1 repro wheels and the ZL1 springs I installed over the weekend to give the car a proper stance.

The ZL1 springs actually ride great. I was expecting a very firm maybe harsh ride, but that is not the case. Rides great...just a bit more bounce over big bumps on the highway is all I have noticed. Wish I had done this a long time ago. The install wasn't bad at all either...took me about 4 hours and that included fumbling around for the right sockets and such. (Had access to air tools as well) Now I think I could do it in 3 or less for sure.

I agree! I would have taken him to quart for sure. I think my friend was kind in disbelief at what was happening that he didn't really know what to do. Some cops are dicks though...not all, but some.
