Help Rudy!

I have a 2013 V6 RS and live in Ohio. Considering All Season Tires. PZero's are worthless here in any kind of snow. Hate that I can't rotate tires because of sizes being diff front to rear. How long can I expect them to last without rotating? What would you recommend?

The factory Pirelli's normally last around 30k miles on an LT package car. You really need snow tires for the amount of snow you see. You can run a 245/45R20 Pirelli Winter on all 4 corners but you should only run them during the winter months. Give me a call if you would like to discuss further.

Hi Rudy. Read most of this thread. I'm looking to purchase a 2014 SS/RS 'vert with 20" wheels and realize winter wheels and tires are going to be part of the deal from the start. Would you confirm the downsized packages that will fit the '14? -1? -2?

There are a couple of 19 inch that fit but nothing smaller that I am aware of without removing the roller skate dampers. Please give me a call and we can discuss in detail if you like.

Interesting. I just got an email from TR giving a recommended winter/wheel package in 18". I thought there were clearance issues going -2? If not, I would be perfectly happy to do so. Scorpions on MSW Type 12s. Look pretty good.

Rudy, would you please confirm this package will work on a SS/RS with 20" OE?

There alot of 18's that do clear but if they have the roller skates on the brakes those have to be removed..
But I did 20" winter tires and rims from tire rack

Well, I would hope that by MY 2014 it would be clear whether or not Camaros have "roller skate" brakes and whether or not they fit on 19s or 18s or whatever. This is the information that prospective or current Camaro owners need to rely on from suppliers.

They will NOT work without removing the roller skate dampers.

Rudy, I am now considering the 2014 Spring Special Edition which comes with the 21" Dusk wheels. Will you be able to find a 19 or 20" package for this model? Do all the Camaros have the same mounting dimensions regardless of factory options?

Also, your website says using your TPMS requires dealer to activate. Is this a one time deal or must it be done by the dealer every time wheels are swapped? Is there any way for the driver to do this and avoid the cost and hassle of going to the dealer?

Can you please call me on this. I have some questions but I am sure we can figure out something for you. The TPMS will need to be activated each time. I have a trigger tool for $80 dollars that will allow you to do it yourself.

Rudy, will the 245/60 Blizzak DM-V1s fit on the stock 20" rims? I'm considering just ordering tires and storing the PZeros since we'll have this winter crap for the next 3 months or so.

That tire is too tall or big. They would rub. Not recommended. I recommend running the 245/45R20 Pirelli scorpion winter front and rear for winter.

I have been running Michelin x-ice3 tires on my Dodge Charger and have been extremely happy with them. I'm thinking of getting 17" rims for my Camaro. How do the Michelin X-ice2 tires work compared to the Blizzaks and the Pirelli winter tires recommended here? I'm kinda partial to Michelin but don't want to compromise traction.

I'm in rural Minnesota where it snows. A lot.

Is there a meaningful difference between the X-ice2 and X-ice3 tires?
