Good times, the early transmission issues are a little worrying and why they didn't give the automatics some kind of manual shifting????? Even the SHO and Fusion Sport have paddle shifterds!

I am going to wait and see with the tranny problem.

Running the car hard with 21 miles on it might not necessarily be so bad on the engine but the tranny might be a different story. Didn't give the gears and synchro's time to settle in.

Either way I will keep my eye on this.

If he got a good launch with the stock rubber Im not sure why the 3.31 car would do much worse.

He wouldnt have to shift again at the end of the 1/4 and also the rims/tires are smaller/lighter.

He has run a 12.7 @ 112 at ATCO with powershifting, good driving and good conditions? The guy destroyed the transmission already...you cant tell me he isnt hitting it hard LOL!

Again...why is this a threat?

Fact remains that the camaro still holds the record. (not that it always will)

Every time this car runs 12's we have to hear about how it is king of the world....I know it may be exciting for you mustang guys....but we have been doing this since 1998 with our GT counterpart.

Anybody who abuses their car right off the lot like that is asking for problems in my opinion. I know when I get a brand new car I sure as hell will break it in for at least 1000 miles. Especially a manual transmission, it is very easy to bend or break a synchro that has not worn in yet.
