Is there still room for another car for the air show on Sat? My wife is the proud owner of a brand new 2012 Summit White 2LT RS and she may want to show off too.

Because of the previous post, it looks like we have to part ways with our 94 Z28 convertible. I wanted to offer her to other Camaro enthusiasts before listing anywhere else. She is red, has 86K miles, power everything, and runs like a champ. If you are interested, please PM me for price and/or questions.

So Troy and I were thinking of meeting for breakfast on Saturday, then taking a cruise up Mt Lemmon. The temp is suppose to hit 90 degrees here, so what better time to hit the mountain! Anyone else interested? The usual breakfast spot is Cafe Jasper at Sunrise and Campbell, but I'm open to other suggestions. If you're not interested in breakfast, we can stage another gathering point at Udall Park, at the corner of Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon Rd. Times aren't set yet. Just want to get some idea of a headcount. I'll send this out to the email list as well. Shoot me a note if you'd like to join us.

Just saw the 1LE package slated for 2013. If it ends up happening that may be really tempting. By then we should have a house, a second dd, and the ls will be a weekend car that needs upgraded

And I wish we could cruise up to Mt Lemon on Saturday but we are going house hunting and it's the wife's only Saturday off in the next month. Maybe next time.

OK. 9:00 Sat morning at Cafe Jasper if anyone is joining us for breakfast. It's on the Southeast corner of Sunrise and Campbell. If you're on the Northwest side, and just want to meet up with us there for the cruise, we'll leave Jaspers about 9:45 and head for Udall Park, Southeast corner of Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon Rd. We'll meet up with others from the East side between 10:00 and 10:30, then head for the hills.

DM Air Show

Not to steal your thunder Sean but MSgt Pardo called me because he wanted a military representative from our end to help out to make sure things run smoothly. He said we all need to be at the Wilmot gate on Valencia at 6:30 a.m. Then they will have to get everyone's info and issue passes. This will most likely include driver's license, proof of insurance, and registration. This is expected to take 15-20 min. After that is done, everyone will follow me to the designated ECP (entry control point) to the flightline. We will meet MSgt Pardo here and do FOD (foreign object damage) checks before proceeding on to the aircraft parking ramp. This includes looking at the tires for rocks and other debris that can be sucked into aircraft engines. Once we all complete the check, he will escort us to our designated area to set up and show off our babies. From what I understand, we will be parked near the main entrance so all visitors will see our cars before just about anything else.

Sean, please pass this on to the Corvette club and send out an email to everyone going in case they don't see this. We should also pick a time and place close to the gate to meet up wo we can make sure we all get in together. This is just for Sat so I will have to see how he wants to do Sun since I will not be there on that day.

If you're looking for a gathering point, I would suggest the business park on the corner of Valencia and Kolb, behind the Gas City. The street is McCulloch Drive. It's a straight shot from there down Valencia to Wilmot. Should be fun driving the flightline from the backside of base! If you get a chance, ask MSgt Prado if the same plan applies for Sunday. Thanks.
