BTW, the reviews are pathetic. The SRX I had as well as the LaCrosse (all in pictures in the link in my sig) both had the 3.0. Neither lacked performance. Good all around powertrain combination. Not fast mind you, but very capable and enjoyable vehicles. I would have no issues with the 3.0 in either one. And what most of the reviewers don't mention is that both cars are readily available with a higher performance powertrain. 2.8 T and 3.6 SIDI in the SRX and LaCrosse respectively. They just want to take pot shots at GM. Most of the competitors only offer a single powertrain. GM offers 2 in both of these models. 3 if you count the upcomming 2.4L in the LaCrosse.

Biggest problem some are having with the 3.0L is the fuel economy. Apparently there's not enough torque or something.
