So.. How do I setup my sct x3 so I can use livelink to read my boost gauge through the firewire?

Now that I have the hardware setup the software has confused me..

I'm getting closer.. The AEM afr gauge had a presetting in the sct x3. Now I just need the equation for the AEM boost gauge for analog 2.

Not sure K32. You could try to come up with something. You have the gauge, so I would imagine with a little bit of playing you could get an equation working so Livelink's graph matches your gauge. And they say you'll never use your math classes again!

Well the two available formats under custom 0-5v inputs are (v + a) * b OR (v * a) + b.

On SCT's site they show you what to plug into each variable for the afr gauges.. However I have no idea what to plug in for the boost gauge.. Any suggestions to try?

I thought you needed a 2.5 bar map sensor

I have the 3 bar zr1 map. But not sure how to get the livelink/handheld tuner to read boost through my aem boost gauge via firewire. I'm missing the equation.

Alright... some quick math tells me...

Y = -30
X = 13

(V*13)-30 is what you should use for the 35PSI AEM gauge.

I used this page.

I should elaborate a little i suppose.

Y = value associated with minimum voltage (-30)
X = full range divided by voltage range.. so 35 - (-30) = 65 / 5 = 13

(V * 13) + (-30)
