Well we talked to the doctor today while Stephanie was waiting to do her chemo treatment. She said even if all the test where great next Thursday that they are still going to run her thru at least a total of 8 rounds of chemo.

All that we have been thru is just finishing the 4th round today. This just really brought us down. Stephanie is already needing new blood every round and it will probably only get worse before it gets better. And this is what the doctor said if everything was looking good next week. What if it is not?

We are now really bummed.

She said she wanted to make sure we get it all. But what if the test are not good next week? I am really scared for Stephanie that they may bring up radiation.

Anyway I will be postive around my baby but still bumming.

I hope you don't mind, I placed Stephanie's name in my Moms prayer group. She's real into the catholic church. I hope all goes well and wish you and your family strength.

Scott - I look at it as good news. Yes the next month will be extremely difficult but obviously doctors believe there is hope or they would stop treatment altogether (that I know from a close friend who died from a brain tumor). Be strong and try and look at things as a positive!

That's a good way to look at it... They are still working so they see light at the end of the tunnel!

It can't be easy for you Scott. But Hylton's right. You are still moving forward towards removing the cancer. That's the goal. So, be encouraged, as much as possible. We want her cured, that's what we're are after. And that's still a very good possibility.
