Finally Arrived

Although I had to wait a few days for them to restock, once it shipped it took only a few days. Now I just need to find some time to install it.

How much did this unit cost and how long did it take you to receive it?

It look very cool please give us some feedback on how it works.

What did this do for you? I see it on the last page of the so called instruction manual, but it is listed under the upgrades.

I have no Bose and did not use the RCA cables and the sound system is identical, if not better through the use of the equalizer apps.

First Impressions

(Working through the settings and a little more time with the unit): After some limited time using this installed in the car...

Overall it makes the interior look so much better, but there is a lot of trial and error to get/fix some of the hiccups due to lack of instruction.

The Good:
Looks like OEM quality, matches trim around shifter pretty well
Non Bose Sound Quality is just as good as it was before
Screen hides fingerprints pretty well (better then my Asus Memo HD Pad)
IGo Navigation is very accurate and doesn't need a internet connection to run
Rotation Locker App cures the landscape/portrait problem (pre-installed)
800x480 Screen Resolution is just fine for me
Easy to connect USB into center console (added the console USB port with plug from PartsDirect)
Really just plugs into existing cables without cutting (Non-Bose)
Compatible with Ipod
Picks up last long played when car is turned off and back on.
Seems to pull up Reverse Camera any time vehicle is placed in reverse, I haven't installed camera yet so pulls blue screen.
Quick Browser processing
Easily Tethers to House Wifi or Phone Mobile Hotspot (Android Phone)
Easily adds Contacts from Phone to Bluetooth Phone-book
All steering wheel controls work EXCEPT for call. When pressed on Steering wheel it will not initiate call. Mute/End, Volume Up/Down, Source all work.

The Bad:
Pre-installed App Equalizer is finicky, wont always load (have a fix I need to try)(Researching OS 2.3.4, this error code was common. In a 30 second fix, solved the error problem when launching the app.)
IGo Navigation always loads when starting the vehicle (It seems)(Still the same.)
Sometimes Doubles and Triples tagged music files on from Ipod when reading it(Have to go thru the song lists and delete duplicates, they don't appear to come back)
No Steering wheel control of Ipod, only screen control.(Still the same.)
Doesn't want to play nice with my TPMS sensors (right side) will try to reset(Go figure, I needed Air in a tire, but I did notice when I pulled up the DIC it looks like it lost communication. Put air in and has not returned.)
Prior to removing stock radio and looking at the connections, almost looks like a beginner couldn't figure it out.
Does take some modification to fit dash
Very little instructions provided
Google Play doesn't always want to download Apps(Error code and Wont Authenticate Google Talk)(Research OS 2.3.4 Error codes and there is a simple fix. Basically clearing the data, force closing Google and restarting, haven't had a problem since.)
OS does get sluggish, hangs on a few occasions. Same
Screen is pretty bright while driving at night (can hit button to turn black) or set different wallpaper. Same
Blue Rings on HVAC are not bright or maybe not even lit. All other lights work. Same

Pending:
DVD use Works just fine.
Camera Install
Camera Recording
Car Radio (waiting on one final cable) Works just fine
Shark Fin/GPS connection (using provided GPS works just fine)
Celsius reading on top of Screen (apps have been converted to Fahrenheit)
Ghosting of Notification Bar at times (think there is a way to fix)
Using Bluetooth Menu to access Factory Settings of Unit (codes are provided on nearly the last page of the limited instruction manual)

What would you expect at double that?

Even OEM's have flaws.
