From the picture it looks like the chrome is pealing off? Or try some Eagle One Never Dull Wadding Polish might work on the black stuff.
Good luck
My car is outside all the time and I have nothing on them that looks that bad. Of course I do clean the wheels up on it before they even get close to looking like that. I have had brake material build up that looked similar but once again, not that bad.

Steel wool will take rust off if it is corrosion.

Easy on the steel wool ! Might make the crome severely scrached. Once you get them cleaned up a good wax will protect them

Maybe that's why mine haven't gotten bad......I waxed them good right after I bought the car. Unfortunately, I do have some curb rash on 2 of them. :(

I did use steel wool on some Cragars a few years ago, removed the rust great with minor scratching.

The stuff was on the wheels when i bought the car a few weeks ago in Atlanta Georgia. I keep it parked under a carport outside. I believe the eagle one never dull stuff worked on it a great deal. I will try it some more when i wash it again. Although I am debating getting new wheels because of the price of the 21inch tires.

Judging by the pics of the wheels & the pic of the very weathered condition of the sticker you posted, I think your car has had a pretty hard life in the 2 years since it was built.

One thing I've noticed since buying mine is how quickly brake dust & road grime build up on the wheels. The wheels & the front spoiler are the 2 most vulnerable parts on this car with the wheels being the most expensive to replace. The brake dust/road grime film is quite noticeable even after a single a day or 2 of nice weather driving. I try to wash the wheels thoroughly with soap & water with a soft long hair brush at least weekly in the warm months when I'm driving it. Polishes & wax make them look nice but not sure how much or how long they really protect the chrome. I think if you really want to stave off corrosion, you need to regularly and thoroughly clean them.

I agree about the hard life... car had 35000miles on it when i bought it. I dont think they washed it as often as i will. Hopefully the wheels will clean up a little more. But i will need some new front tires fairly soon. Is there any other options for tires?

hey i had a bunch brake dust on my wheels after the winter. i bought mothers chrome wheel cleaner and used a nylon brush. works like a charm. i thought my wheels were ruined because that stuff was so caked on and would not scrape off. follow the instructions on the bottle and no problems. hope this helps.

i went up 2 sizes on my rear tires and the price was 50% less. i put 295/35 21 on the rear. i will up the size on the fronts also. check tire rack for tires and go to this site for options.

Asanti. I've got the 21's in the garage. It was so much easier to find tires for 20's.

They look great!
What size rims and tires. I know they are 20's.
Did you go with a square set up?
