Screw that PQ, you are not working on your car unless fingers are broke, blood is flying and shit that is going to leave a bruise. What are you having Bonnie put it back together?

Parts are pretty well all here. I'm considering going to get them and assemble it myself. The shop is swamped and can't get to mine.

If you have the time and the aptitude, I say go for it! Plenty of primo help here on C5 to keep you pointed in the right direction. You may end up with some cool new one-use-only tools when you're done also... I always do

I wouldn't go so far as to say the BEST person.....

I would sure quadruple-check all the clearances, especially if the bore & stroke have changed, but if everything was spec'd right might not be too much trouble. I took another man's word as fact once without checking clearances........ ended up with pistons banging into valves Live & learn.

If it was the first time I'd dam sure bet'cha I'd be studying up with a couple or three "How To" books on rebuilding the LS* motors.

Still waiting. Somehow I lost the reluctor wheel..... or whatever you call it.

Someone had to have thought it was cool looking and took it from the garage. It is just flat out gone.

They are supposed to have it done by next weekend I've been told.

We'll see. NO big deal, I am so busy right now I couldn't drop it in anyway. Maybe in the next few weeks.

Hell, I still haven't bought the ZL1 pump. Got the hole cut to make the swap but haven't ordered it.
