Ok now for my response, ARE U TRYING TO GET BANNED??!!! lol Your gonna p*ss off and break alot of hearts over here posting a basically bolt on mustang getting major air under the fronts and running mid 10's!!

Lookout chevy/mopar the mustang is back on top, and its only going to get faster and faster as the aftermarket support grows. Just wait for the H/C, bored and stroked built motors running major power adders to hit the track!!

I gotta give props when there due, FORD did it right in every which way!!(well except for that funky looking rear!!) Nice!!

Haha hey gotta give respect where its due right? I am a die hard guy but that is pretty dam IMPRESSIVE. Love how its pulling some smalls wheels also. If ONLY the dam Camaros weighed less. I would be posting vids of them doing 10 sec passes. I would prefer a 5th gen Camaro over a 5.0 any day. But just that dam weight kills it. & yes I AGREE 100% the taillights on the new Mustangs are wish they had kept them like the 2005-09 Stangs. But I prefer the new Mustangs front end more then the 05-09 Stangs.

A 1.8X is a very good 60' completely stock. There's some major stupidity on both sides here. These cars aren't ringers, obviously considering they are production cars and no stock gt is ever, ever EVER going to cut a 1.4 60'. You ever seen a stock gt lift the tires a foot off the ground? lol! Like said before, the cars are very, very well matched. I think this thread should be closed, but maybe that's just me...
Again, you don't know me, you don't know what I have personally seen, so don't tell me what I have or have not seen. I never was talking specifically about the new GT cutting these times. However, I am sure some can put down better times than some of these "racers."

I also notice how the mustang is widely talked about on this forum. Some mustang guys post information, and some camaro guys post information. I don't see what the big deal is. They post it either in the "vs" area, or in this area. This area is called "General Automotive + Other Cars Discussion. I thought this area was to discuss any other car. Last time I checked, it was to discuss other cars, not to give credit to the camaro or be threatened with being banned if you didn't.

IMO, if you don't want to hear about the mustang, don't click on the thread. Yet, people do, and then like to either bash, or complain. Where is the good in that? There isn't any.

You are wrong. This specific subforum exists to do the exact opposite of what this quote says. This subforum has nothing to do with the Camaro.

This is clearly not a mustang forum. This is a competitors forum, and there will be nothing but bashing and doubt. So, it's kinda pointless why some post things like this. Alwell, congrats on your times.
No bashing intended , Please enlighten me on these incredible 60fts that ive never heard of! Im not asking for proof just examples of Bone stock Camaros or Mustangs cutting 1.4-1.6 60fts? If they had they would be record passes so thats why im intrested.

Thats my next purchase some drag radials and vette rims for the rear on my stock car. In some good air I think it'll be around a 12.3x.

Then let me make it perfectly Clear.

If you only post in opposition of the Camaro, with nothing positive to Say about the camaro, or you only are here to represent you car of choice other than a camaro, you will eventually be forced to leave. This would fall under our trolling rule.

Now I think we can all agree that this provides quite a bit of room to be a fan of any car here and not have any problems. But the few can ruin it for the many.

You do what you want, post how you want but in the end we will measure to the standard I've explained above.

Basically if you are a troll or trolling you will get banned. And I agree with this stance.

I know what you haven't seen because I know what is physically possible. A stock GT will NEVER run a sub 1.7 60' on stock tires. It won't happen. There is NO arguing it, so why make yourself look like a fool by arguing it? It simply won't happen. You did specifically talk about the GT. You said the 2.0 was bad and you were sure someone could cut a 1.6-1.4. Look at evo's GT. It cut a 1.45 and almost touched the rear bumper to the ground.
