John, I can't make it, a little too far for me to get too. But I second the fact that HB likes to write tickets. I'd be real careful with your new exhaust in that part of the world...I've gotten more than a few too loud pipes on my old Harley there and your new exhaust is about as loud....Have fun...

I have'nt yet....But that looks like fun and very fast,I hear you can hit around 135-140 at that track pretty.... damn fast.

Some of has been At Willow Springs Big Track and The Streets of Willow ..

Track insurance a must for that track..

Autocross is relatively safe and little chance of wrecking your Camaro.

I would want a lot more safety equipment to feel comfortable on the real track(Roll cage at a minimum), given the speeds involved and not knowing what others driving skill levels are. And as Don said, track insurance is a must, which is going to cost about $200 for the day and only covers your Camaro, not you or any liability for anyone you might hit on the track, so you are assuming a lot of potential liability as Speed Ventures has you sign Waivers galore. For me, Autocross is good for now.

I went on a ride along in a friends Nissan GTR and we did the beginner group. Every one was very respectful of each other and you can only pass if the driver wavies you by. It was a blast! Does speed ventures sell track insurance?
