Yeha, that's what I am used to seeing... I am floored to being seeing anything more than that... and to have it appear that my car is available for sale.

Hell ya bro. that is a trip. They will prob give you some bs like the add had to have a vin to post and we just used your vin so we could post for another car that is ordered but no vin available yet or something crazy like that. Makes ya wonder is it actually there or are they planning to try and sell it and give you another? hell yea go up ther and let us know what they say. Should have someone email em like they are an interested buyer to see what results they get to see if they lie to you.

Mine is still not here. They estimate 8 days for rail and 2-3 for truck from Annapolis. It looks like the car was unloaded at Annapolis today at 12:37p.m. so I should get it Monday or Tuesday.

I'm still hoping for tomorrow though!!

It's been 19 days since my car was built.

Just in case anyone was wondering I went through and counted all the ones that were added 5/8 i counted kinda fast but it is somewhere around 600 cars, if they can do that everyday they will have them shipped in a hurry

That bait thing apparently is in practice all over Cars.com. There are two SS's, one in Pensacola and one in Massachusetts, that appear with photos AT the dealership, complete with closeups of the VIN's that match the car listed for sale. It completely makes you think that they are selling THAT car. I checked on both and they were both ordered back in October, long since pre-sold, and just listed to get calls. TERRIBLE waste of people's time, and another example why the dealerships are KILLING General Motors.....

Yes, the bait tactic is wrong on several levels. Kinda makes you wonder about the dealership as a whole, but I guess that element exists in virtually every dealership.

I had always heard the Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, Texas... and the Dealer/Owner Tom Durant... were above that and more ethical. That's specifically why I ordered from them. Let's hope they are anyway, when the rubber of my new Baby hits the road of their dealership.
