I was looking at my XDs and noticed the side of the case said something alone the lines of no selling this gun in California. That's pretty crappy...

Assume that is due to mag capacity? I have a 34 rounder or so for my G17. Of course you need to take out a small loan to load it these days.

Its due to the short barrel. Its only a 5+1 for the .45. I love my XDs. Its my CC.

I love my XDs as well. Very good shooting gun for their size! I can't wear it all the time though so I still use my LCP from time to time. It's not even close to as nice.

Does the XDs shoot anywhere near as nice as a full frame XD?

It's a sub compact so it won't shoot as good as a full framed gun. But the quality is just as good. It does have the recoil but it really didn't bother me much, just have to re align..

I owned an XDS 45 for a while. Very aggressive texture and the sucker kicked. I can only see the XDS 9 being a great cc pistol.

I was going to Form 1 a lower so I could SBR it, but I read that Form 1's sent today would take a year! What's the lead time on the Nighthawk?
