The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

In a nutshell...that pro torque I had is fine for a daily or small cam build...would be awesome with a twin screw. All day long. It doesn't drag race as well as let on with a centri blower...that's with neither Ted nor Ryan's tune. The single disc converter never got better than a 1.8 60 in my car. CircleD cut a 1.57. That's proof IMO. Track results don't lie. That triple I have though isn't for everybody. The pro torque could be driven fun on curvy roads and bang gears easily. The big stall triple is a bit different animal. You run up on the power band real fast. You are welcome to take my car for a spin.

That's why I drive a manual! Seems like a lot of effort just to get the damn thing to shift when/how you want it to.

Sorry, but I have yet to see a ported stock intake that actually sees any gains. Claims yes, actual gains, no.

Kinda like spending $1000 on a Fast Intake for no/minimal gains.

Oh, MB could mean Master Baiter, ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!
There was a challenge to see what the ported intake manifolds were doing. Bare Essentials Racing was the only one to step up. Their ported IM made slightly less than the Fast IM on a NA car. Most of it was at the higher RPMs. I decided to go with a ported IM because it will give me more power once I add a centri blower to it. But otherwise...I probably still woulda bought it just because, lol!!

if I don't buy an aftermarket intake I plan to let Rhino port mine while he has it apart.

I'd like to see one of the ported manifolds do good. I can't justify the HP to dollar ratio of going with a FAST and 102 mm TB.

Also on the horizon is the dual plenum manifolds that are supposedly showing up at SEMA. If they live up to the claims and stay in the price range of the FAST I might be interested.

All this will have time to shake out before I do my Heads/Cam and possibly intake in the fall of next year.

In the meantime I'll keep researching and mostly listening.
