Once I get my Scar I plan to get the AR-532. Like I said this being my first rifle I would like to find some carbine courses to get better at firing and target acquisition.
Might be a sight I need to look into. Tactical coursed would definitely be fun!

Awesome! How durable is the bipod/how do you like it?

OK...let's talk suppressors. Looking at the following:

Surefire SOCOM762-RC or AAC 762-SDN-6 (7.62)

Surefire SOCOM556-RC or AAC M4-2000 (5.56)

Silencerco .45 Osprey or AAC Ti-rant .45 (.45)

SilencerCo SS Sparrow or AAC Element 2 (.22)

I'm leaning towards the bolded. I know AAC is very popular, but there are things I like about each one.

On the 7.62 and 5.56 I really like Surefire's fast-attach system.

On the Osprey .45, it's unique looking and sits lower as to not affect standard sites.

On the Sparrow I've heard it's just much easier to clean, which is obviously more important on a .22 can.

I'm also still trying to figure out if I should get a dedicated 5.56 can, or just use the 7.62.

Thoughts?

I haven't taken it to the range yet, but the bipod is pretty solid. Definitely looks and seems to work good.

On a side note, I'm thinking about getting the same bipod on my Dragunov PSL after I order a new polymer stock and hand guard set for it as a modernization project for it.

I'm thinking of going with a Harris, but open to options

I'd definitely recommend Harris. If you were putting it on a rail, I was going to mention picking up the Larue Tactical version (which is still a modified Harris).

Send a message via Yahoo to Russo

stole the irons off the Kriss and installed a Diamondhead 15" hand guard, short gas block, and Harris bi-pod with swivel mount so I can hit targets on the move

I think I'll go with a S-BRM if I don't pick up another car soon.

That's what I have on my 7.62 (the LaRue version with the quick disconnect). Good choice.

I have yet to get out past 100 yds but found a range here that goes out to 500 yds. Yesterday I moved it closer to my iron sight which I really don't need but I still keep it on and now I can see through it better. Valhalla Armory has a lifetime warranty included so if you drop it or something goes wrong they give you a new one.
