Welcome and nice ride. How did you do the bow tie? If you plasti-dipped it i think it looks good if you pull the dip off the chrome on the outside of the bowtie so the chrome shows. Thats what I did on my SIM. It makes the bowtie pop if thats what you want and goes good with the chrome strip. I know you said your getting a billet one.

Welcome aboard!!
I've spent my entire "Chevy (Camaro) vs Ford (Mustang)" life heavily on the Chevy side (All in fun too). Is there any particular reason you decided to leave Ford after such a long history together? I know what I would say; but I'm more curious to hear what the former Ford customer says.

Good luck with the car. If needed, you can get most any question answered on this site. Very helpful and knowledgeable people.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Yeah, I had seen pics of the ones with the chrome surround showing but decided to go all black. For mine I just popped it off, rattle-canned it, and popped it back on since it was just an interim solution. But as wishy washy as I am I may go the chrome surround route one day anyway.

To be honest, I had planned on getting the 2015 Mustang but the more details that came out the less I was impressed with the changes.

Plus GM cars have always had more creature comforts IMO.

And I think I was just ready for something different.

I'm not one of those guys that's a brand loyal lunatic. I like to try different things.

Just turns out that I had a good relationship with "my Ford guy" so I stuck with Ford for a longer period. Prior to Ford I was mostly into Honda's. (Cars and Bikes)
