I didn't read through the entire thread so this may have been covered so I apologize if it was but what are the classes broken into? Is it heads up just broken into slicks and dr's? Is it also just the one day or is there racing on both Sat and Sun? Sorry again if this has been answered. Thanks for the help.

If I understand correctly, there won't be "classes" so to speak. Anyone wishing to compete will do a couple qualifying runs and sort of like Pinks All Out, they will choose cars that seem to have a tight grouping of times to run against each other. There will be two groups of 16, and two different competitions.

There will also be a Quick 8 in which the fastest 8 cars of the day will compete against each other (this just might be your category based on your signature info...LOL!)

Pony Wars is a one day event, but I still hope you can join us!!!

last year they had 4 groups after qualifying...13 secs/12 secs/11 secs/10 secs.....good thing about this event is that you get to go against fords (mustangs mainly) and other GMs, mostly GTO's....I like racing other fellow camaro5's, but it's a lot of fun racing other cars.....I would love to see SuperchargedSS come down and participate, I will look forward to seeing him race in the top 8 cars....

I have to admit that I am intrigued by this and its not to far to travel. Unfortunately I can't commit to anything 100% right now becasue of health reasons. But with a date of April 2, that will give Ted time to take my car to the track and get it 100% dialed in. Hopefully it will have some 9 sec passes under its belt by then.

We are adding another 100 rwhp and the 4.10's (still haven't tracked them yet). I'm hopefull it will pick up a few tenths.

If anyone organizing the event happens to read this, I would love to see a true street tire class if they decide to have any actual classes. Not drag radials, but stock style street tires for those of us that are running our daily drivers just like we drive them every day.
