Mine rattles things when it's down below 2000 RPM and if I had a 50 dollar bill for everytime someone has mistook it for a V8 I would have a buttload of mod money. Sometimes on a high-ish RPM decel it sounds kinda like a V8. But it definitely sounds like a 6 which to me is just fine. But you really need to have the long tubes if you want that deep rumble and hardcore sound.

Sound depends on your exhaust system.

Long Tube headers will make that sound louder.

CAI will make it deeper.

I like the sound of v6's having an aggressive tone. My '92 camaro does not sound like a V6 and I'm more than pleased when people ask if it's a V8.

I could not stop rewinding the V8 video to :36 just to watch the launches. LOL (this is what my V8 does but not my V6)

And I will just add: if you're goal is to have a V8 sound, then the best way to achieve that is to simply get an SS. Personally I think it's an absurd excercise to try and make a six sound like an eight. The goal should simply be to enhance the V6 motor's characteristics to sound killer which is certainly achievable. There are plenty of amazing sounding V6's on this forum. With the exception of the Dodge Viper, there are some really incredible sounding motors outside of 8 cylinders.

My 3.6 6MT does that, lol. And it does it better than my brother's L99. I just installed my 3rd set of PZeros at 26k.

I'm most concerned with sounding bad@ss over sounding like a V8. I want the most aggressive bad@ss exhaust they make for the v6.

Go with ARK N-ll or SOLO Mach X LLT. You can't do headers yet or cat delete without some costly fabrication you may want to look into electric cutouts.
