Why did you need it?? - oil pan seal leak. Much easier than pulling motor or lifting it enough for clearance.
How did it go? - Perfect. I had someone else install since I don't have a welder. Paid for the flanges, paid someone $200 to cut, weld, and paint. Did it get your problem solved? Are you still glad you did it? Yes, 100% on the last two items. Zero issues. |

Got my flange's.
Scheduled to get the car to the shop on Monday, welder on Tuesday. It didn't come with bolts. Did anybody come up with some special nut/bolts, or just Lowes Grade 8's? What size are they? 5/16" I'd guess? After the cut is made, do the 2 sides need to be 'pulled' together at all, or slip fit them back in? Thanks, -KP |
