That would concern me as well unless the zeta platform is strong enough to handle cutting the roof off ? Pedders extreme sub frame connector kit or a call to Hotchkins might be in order ? Don't know if I could cut the roof off my new camaro,

Dont take this wrong ,i'm sure their work is outstanding.I would never do this because the value of the car plummets once this is done.My uncle has a very low VIN 70 1/2 TA with the ram air 4 package, and its worth a lot less than it should be.He put T-tops in it after he bought it.While job looks factory on it,and the craftsmanship is excellent. He will not be able to sell it for anything close to what it should be worth.

I wouldn't cut into a car like that. If you want a convertible, buy one made from the factory that way. Not that these guys don't know what their doing, this is just my opinion.
Aequitas, I can't really explain why I like mine. It's nice sometimes to drop the top and go for a ride. I only drop the top probably a handful of times a year. The weather has got to be just right, low wind and not too hot. And...you gotta be careful of what's in the car...cuz if it's papers or something like that...the wind will suck it right outta there. |

Tht is exactly what I'm wondering. I like the idea, but are you sure it's not going to start leaking within a month or so?

There is something about driving with the top down!! I am still going to wait until 2011 hopfilly the GM will have a glass rear window. The wait will be worth it! This one looks good but I bet GM will be better. If GM is are paying attention they will address the antenna and brake light!:5thgenvert:

Waiting to see the finished product with pictures of the car out of the garage with both the top up and down...
I want to order a vert in a couple years so this thread could give a good idea of what they will look like.
