Yeah it's a great sight the only thing better is after we destroy them and have boogers all over
Hey Kirk, did you have tire wear like this ? this is my passenger side. Im going to the dealer today they are going to check stuff out. I had 1 day at Laguna and 2 at Fontana on my other set, and it didn't look like this. This was from only 1 day.

All kidding aside how are you finding the F1's for track days? You must like them as you've bought another set but from some of the feedback I've been hearing the Pilot SS are a great/better tire and more street friendly. I'm racing at The Ridge June 16th on my F1's and a friend is putting on Pilot SS so we will see which ones stick better.

I had it at the dealer yesterday and it checked out spot on.I had a set that i ran Luguna on, and 1 or 2 days at Fontana(cant remember)and the front didn't wear like this.I wonder if that is from running that banking at such a high speed, that's the only thing that changed from last time i was there.

(Noticing the vids disappeared)
Regardless, I wonder how you would run if you ran a late entry apex in some of the turns. Seems (at first blush) you would gain some traction and speed. Anyways, what is the car and ppe requirements at Miller. (pm me a link cs92 and description if you have it, interested) |
