More round contouring with the fender flair for the wheels. ??? Just an idea!
And black camaro and SS emblems. From emblempro!Maybe have him do the 376 and put em below the SS'?
You mean something like this?

Nope. Keep the outline pinstripe on the one before. Remove the 376 and fill it with that block. Now expand the block. Enough so that it contours out and around the fender/wheel well outside crease, coming to a point to about the 11:00 position on the crease. Kind of looking like the wing on the detroit redwings moniker except squared on the bottom. And keeping it inside the pinstripe not integrating it. Hope that isn't to confusing?

Almost!! Bring that fill in sticker up over the reflective marker to the crease in the fender flair and run it up to where the point is! Bring it to a point at the 12oclock position! Damn I hope it looks good for your trouble? lol you will have to drop the top down a bit at the top to make the sharp point.

Looks a bit big to me. It does have potential though; I'll play around with it some more. One problem which you might not be able to see in the photo is there is a body seam that cuts right down the middle of the wide part, where the front of the car mates up to the front fender. That's what I was trying to avoid with my earlier designs; having it put a dark line through the middle.

I'll play with it some more. Thanks for the idea and input!

You know I've been trying to figure out why that hockey idea of yours looked familiar and it suddenly hit me where I'd seen that shape style before; the old Southern Pacific Daylight Express engines. Actually the new Camaro itself kind of reminds me of those magnificent machines.

Actually now that I've played with it I'm kind of liking this look; it's subtle. Has some style but doesn't smack you in the face. And the body seam won't be a big factor. Hmm....

That is one iron horse nobody was jumping for a ride! I used to do that as a kid. Catching a ride from Aptos CA to Capitola beach to play skiball. Like clock work, 200 yards from my front door. Those were fun times!
That one is a beaut!
I didn't pick up that body line. I can see what your saying though.

Wow I had completely forgotten about this thread! This was after I'd ordered my car but it hadn't shipped yet.

Instead of a side stripe I did a hood stripe. Here's what I wound up with:
