I have ordered the steering wheel to put on my 2014 2LT/RS. Maybe I am missing something, but I can't find the holes to release the airbag. I thought I saw a video the other day that said you had to turn the wheel upside down and the holes are on the bottom. Is that true? Any pictures? Any links?

Everything I am seeing on Camaro5 is for earlier wheels.

I upgraded to the 1LE steering wheel.

When I bought my 2015 1LE.

They are tiny slots, when you get the new wheel in the mail, just practice on that wheel. You'll see them plain as day, and it's good practice on how to release the airbag clip.

If you have a 2012+ then the airbag just swaps over with the wheel. Directions in the link to the thread a few posts back describes in great detail

Nope, 2010 with the round airbag. Maybe I can just ducktape it in place.

Ahh, then yeah, you'll have to spend like $400 on the airbag as well, probably not worth it for you.

You can shop the interior forums or ebay and come across a cheap one every now and then. There was a video on YouTube on how to replace the canister and repack it and there's also new airbag covers on ebay for the 12's and up for less than 50 bucks if memory serves. i got mine from a forum member for 250.

I went with the ZL1 steering wheel in leather and added the 1LE bezel. I also have the black anodized paddles.
