Bought my 2015 in September 2019 with 14k miles. In the last four months I've put about 2000 miles on it including a track day, wet drifting, and 30 drag strip passes. No mods yet other than EBC yellow brake pads.

Hey Bigtime53,

You are one of the guys on here I was watching before I bought my Z,
Appreciate all your posts and info I got here !!

Anyways, I bought my 2014 in July of 2016 with 3900 on the clock...I put 500
on it the first day taking her home

I’m just under 16k now, summer use only but I can’t stay out of it when I have
the time. At a few thousand miles a year, these cars are gonna last a long time,
so get out there and drive them

Thanks for the kind words. It looks like I am one of just a few left here in the ZL1 section that still has a Z from when Chevy introduced them. I guess most have sold their cars and moved on to something else. I used to get on the computer and go to this site and you had to read for hours each day to catch up on all the new post everyone was doing. I learned a lot about these cars back then. I have had 4 of these ZL1's and even a new Z/28 but now this 15 model ZL1 I have now has been my favorite. Hell all of the 5th gen cars are my favorite! I just like them. I am not a fan of the 6th gen. Maybe someday but now I am not. I hope to keep this car along time and drive it and enjoy it. Its not my daily driver but I do drive it but at the same time I am not trying to wear it out. So you drive yours and take care of it and it will give you lots of enjoyment for years to come. Now come on guys and girls [is there any girls who have a ZL1?] tell us when you bought and the miles on your car since you have owned it.

You guys that live up north like MN need to move south! I don't know how you can stand to have to store these cars in the winter. Your winters are longer than say ours here in Oklahoma. Where I live we had a rather warm winter here last year and so far the same this winter. Matter of fact today is the coldest we have had so far because we had some sleet this morning.Tomorrow is supposed to bounce back in the 50's so that is good. Anyway I guess if someone wanted a low mileage ZL1 he needs to look up in the northern states because they spend so much time in storage.

That’s true. I’m in western NY and mine has been in the garage under a cover since October. Still 3 more months to go just to get to decent weather.
