Oil change at Wal Mart? If I didn't know any better, I'd say SSOOCH is trolling...

I wouldn't let this change your mind about having anyone do service. There are just as many horror stories about GM dealers.
Ohhh dont worry it will not change MY mind.. I have the cruise set on FK NO at Wally World and it will not change....

Read all the posts... I have witnessed a horror story from WM on an oil change.

Oh... Thats one site dude.... Next youll say they only have one bad guy out of 3 that does the oil changes so I have a 66.6% chance of nothing happening if I go to one of the Wal-marts listed...

Dino oil just like mine. 5w-30 Mobil1 Synthetic seems to be the ticket but everyone has their own opinion.

I put it in mine and she seems to like it.

No reason not to trust them unless you have had previous bad experiences at their auto service department.
Seriously, the person doing the oil changes at the dealership is probably no more qualified than the one at WalMart. I guess most people think the drivetrain specialist at the dealer is the one doing the oil changes. That is not the case. Dealers typically have lube guys and all they do is fluid changes.
The WalMart auto service bays I have seen have the pits you drive over for oil changes which is I would prefer over having the car driven onto a lift which is I see at the dealer.

I've been using them for years for mobil1 in all my vehicles, never had a problem....it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to change oil....

I change my own but have friends that use WalMart and never had any problems. Some even take their DuraMax Diesels there. At the local WalMart there is a window into the service area where you can watch the work being performed.

I've never had so much fun voiding a warranty! Owner of the dealership & I are good friends, had all my warranty-voiding work done there.

Walmart had to buy my coworkers fathers motor because they forgot to put the plug back in and he ran it dry and broke the motor.
