Paid in full at delivery May 26, 2009: $15,550. trade in (2007 Camry Hybrid w/48K miles - so lucky to have gotten rid of it ahead of the brake/accelerator issues which de-valued the Camrys), $,1000. GM Credit Card earnings, $16,500 cash.

The program i went through forced me to pay cash in full. It was well worth it though because I got a GREAT deal, best I've heard of yet.

I intend on doing the same. Purchased the car in March/April, took ownership in May. I owe 15,000$(35,000$ OTD), and I am excited of having a goal of paying off a 60 month Loan term in less than 24 months if I can.

I've only made 2 payments. I'm trying to always pay more than my payment to chip away at that six years of paying in front of me. It could be a long road if I don't drop fat stacks of cash on it in the early stages.
